The Verbar Freehouse is a pleasant surprise hidden beside the Verbeer Manor. Gone are the pool table, disco lights and juke box! You can now enjoy traditional food, drinks and coffees in our Verbar lounge with open fires & comfy sofas or on our unique indoor patio area. We offer a casual, relaxed atmosphere to everyone all day long......

We are always looking for ways to enhance & improve the Verbeer Manor. Following our initial refurbishment in 2005 we made further improvements in 2006 & then when the smoking ban came into force in July 2007 we quickly put up a heated smoking shelter. We added an entrance porch to enable us to appear open & welcoming from the front of the pub. This has made the front dining area more comfortable as it is protected from the elements. We also 'zoned' this room to create two separate areas, the indoor patio & the pub dining room which are pictured above.
